Taking Back Taking: A touch lab for trans, femmes, & thems 6-8:30

In the dominant culture a select few bodies are encouraged to take for their pleasure. Many bodies are harmed in these normed, nonconsensual acts of taking. This lab is a reclamation of consensually taking action for YOUR pleasure! For five weeks, as trans, femmes, and thems we will practice taking action for our pleasure, get to know our embodied desire & want, and negotiate consensual touch with others. Drawn from the lineages of Wheel of Consent, Somatic Sex Education, and partner dancing.

What is held practice space?

Greta and Kk will lead warm up exercises, there will be time to practice the skills, and we will wrap up with time to savor and reflect.

All touch is fully clothed. The series will begin with platonic touch with later invitations to erotic touch.
