Kink Center Mission
Kink Center is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven community center in Capitol Hill, Seattle that creates and maintains an inviting and inclusive space for individuals within the Seattle kink community. Kink Center provides resources, education, and opportunities for connection in a supportive and accessible environment where people can explore, learn, and engage with kink interests.
#1 - The Venue
Kink Center operates an accessible, ADA-compliant venue at 814 E Pike St, Seattle, WA 98122 in Capitol Hill.

Kink Center venue spans approximately 1,200 square feet across three areas: the Common Area, the Main Area, and the Glass Room. Kink Center venue features an ADA-accessible entrance, elevator access, two ADA bathrooms, COWAY HEPA air purifiers, and modern HVAC for clean air and a welcoming environment for all kinksters.

Kink Center is operated entirely by a diverse team of volunteers from the kink community.

Kink Center volunteers hold defined roles and responsibilities. Kink Center Directors work to ensure the community center thrives and meets the needs of the community, while serving and providing space for under-served and under-represented parts of the kink community. Kink Center volunteers serve as stewards of this goal and work together daily to support accessible programming.

Kink Center operates as a donation-based community center, offering free venue use for socials and community events.

Kink Center venue is free for socials, arts events, and community gatherings. Classes use conditional pricing, and parties cost $75/hour. Kink Center aims to keep workshops and classes affordable while ensuring educators receive fair compensation.
Hosts of events that use Kink Center venue at no cost are asked to mention Kink Center mission and that Kink Center is community-run and community-financed. Kink Center acknowledges each donation received.

Kink Center plans to expand with community funding, adding space, equipment, and affordable programming.

With community funding, Kink Center can expand beyond the current approximately 1,200 square feet, acquire better supplies and furniture, and run more classes on sliding-scale pricing or at no charge.
