Oops! Harm Reduction, Intimacy, and Learning in Kink
Saturday, April 25, 2026, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Scenes are made or broken by how you adapt to the unexpected. Sometimes this is a major problem, but much more often it's small things. External events happen, gear fails, people are complicated. We run with something working unexpectedly well. We try new things and do them imperfectly or discover the fantasy was hotter. These are things you can do before, during, and after play to decrease the risks and increase the benefits of error.
This class will include presentation on skills, and talking through real-life incidents small and large . Many of the incidents will be accompanied by video; some of Russell's many imperfect moments have been recorded by camera crews. Some of the material can be emotionally challenging, but you will come away from the class with tools for when you encounter the unexpected in your scenes.
